St. Supery

Excellent chocolatey wine, with the right mix of mild tannins, hints of oak and rich berries. Definitely need to pay them a visit again, since last time I don't remember anything so good.

I was disappointed with this wine. Diamond mountain is the birth place of many superb wines. This one was expensive ($60, but on sale for $38) and it wasn't a justifiable price. I found it to be fairly ordinary, bland, with no distinguishing tones or aromas.

Excellent mix of grenache, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and carignan from Priorat, prime wine region in Spain.

This 2006 vintage is very balanced, with a milky flan aroma and a delicate fruit, iron and oak balance in the palate.
